Checkatrade project 2025. (Ongoing)
I’ve recently been assigned by the well known trade directory ‘Checkatrade’ to update their brand photography for 2025. The goal is to travel the UK over a period of months, capturing the reality of working as a tradesperson in contemporary Britain.
In the end I will have captured around ten trades - from roofers to garden designers. The aim is to present and celebrate the genuine reality of working in a trade, in a commercial documentary style - with minimal posing or interference. Checkatrade can then use the images online via their website.
As of Sept 2025 I’m roughly at the half way point and am happy to present some of the work so far.
